  August already?! We've been having a good summer, with great trips to Timmins and Centre Island and hanging out with friends and family.
  
  There are lots of changes on the go with Spencer. He's about three weeks into potty training, and is doing very well although he dislikes interrupting playtime to "go". He's also moved into a "big boy" bed in a new room, which he's thrilled about but we suspect he'll want the crib back once it's occupied by a baby.
  
  He's talking more now: only single words at a time but he gets his point across clearly. One of his favorite activities is doing puzzles, and he can do a 6-piece all by himself.
