Our little man is 6 and a half months old! As we're sure all parents do, we often look at how much he's grown and learned over such a short period and are amazed.
He's sitting up by himself now (until he reaches too far for something and topples over), and has no problem rolling onto his back since he still isn't a big fan of being on his tummy. He rolled onto his tummy once (on his "half-birthday", as his cousins called it) but can't be enticed to do it again.
Spencer's aunt Elaine and his cousins Larissa (7) and Amanda (5) came from NB for a visit, and he loved to watch them play. He'd stop crying every time they sang "Twinkle Twinkle", using only "meow" as the words.
Spencer loves "solid" food; it took him only one meal to figure out how to eat off a spoon. He can't get enough of whatever we feed him: rice cereal, green beans, carrots, sweet potato or banana, so far. The last bite is swallowed and his mouth is usually open for more before we've even had time to get more onto the spoon.
He's so curious about anything he sees that we know he's going to be into everything. Good thing Grandma comes over often to give Mom a break from the constant entertaining. Soon it'll be time to Spencer-proof the house!Comments:Add a comment:
