  Spencer learned how to roll over this week! We're very proud of him, but we're also sad that this means he needs to be watched all the time now. He's become super curious about everything around him and loves to watch people eat ... in a few weeks he'll have some rice cereal, and we're pretty sure he'll enjoy it since he puts everyting in his mouth. He can support his weight standing for about 30 seconds and is working at sitting up but topples over to his sides pretty quickly. He loves bathtime and is fascinated by the water, so we're trying to take him swimming regularly, although it's kindof hard when it's so cold out!

  Spencer was enjoying his baths so much that we took him swimming for the first time yesterday. He was fascinated by all the lights on the water and liked "swimming" around and bouncing. We only got out after twenty minutes because Parent-Child Swim time ended. We will definitely be back soon!
  
  He is also fascinated these days by watching adults eat and drink ... maybe it's almost time for rice cereal and bananas!
  
  Spencer has two new friends in the last few days: Gabrielle was born on Friday and Connor, Russell's little brother, was born just this morning. Congratulations to the Curnews and Gardiners!
