  Good news and bad news: the bad news is that poor little Spencer had his first shots last week. After putting on a really good show of laughs and kicks for the nurse and doctor, he had a fit when each of the two needles went into his legs. One swelled up like a golf ball, the other started gushing blood. I think Mom and Dad felt worse than he did! But he recovered quickly and was our happy little boy again in no time.
  
  The good news is that we just got back from a trip to Timmins to visit Steven's family. Spencer had a great 9 hour road trip in both directions, sleeping most of the way with two stops for food. He met all his Timmins family and loved looking at all their faces and listening to them ... he especially loved the lazy susan! (see video) He's also found his thumb to suck and has started to grab things.
